My HP Printer Wants To Break Up With Its HP Color Cartridge

So all the sudden this morning my HP printer decides it doesn't like its HP cartridge anymore and is telling me color printer cartridge not compatible. WTF? I didn't introduce you guys through Match.com, so you're not compatible? One of you wouldn't confirm the relationship and make it Facebook official? I wish my printer and color cartridge could just get along and preserve the union...
